Following my graduation from the Culinary Institute of America, I entered the world of restaurant kitchens. I worked as the lead line cook, garde manger, pastry assistant, experimented with a hearth, and creating deserts in a bakeshop. I have plated food, served it, baked and decorated wedding cakes, crafted sourdough bread, and done a significant amount of recipe testing along the way. I have had the incredible opportunity to glean wisdom from different chefs in different aspects of the kitchen. Now, I want to serve people on a personal level bringing my knowledge to your home. So if you are up for it, let’s cook up some good food.
Outside of the kitchen you can find me with my family, tending to my garden or picking fruit and vegetables from our local "pick your own" farms.
We all like food for the most part. It gives us energy, joy, sustenance, and a reason to be around other people. My personal favorite is the last one. The table. It’s my favorite place to be, with people enjoying food. It brings me so much joy to sit, eat, and be nourished, especially with the ones I love.
My desire is to create good quality food that brings you to your table and renews an appreciation for the food you eat and the ones you love.
That is the table I strive to create, one that nourishes your soul and your body. It is more than just filling you up, but bringing you quality nourishment and reason to gather with the ones you love.
